Prof. Dehui Ye

Guilin University Of Electronic Technology, China

Professor Ye is the dean of the School of Art and Design at Guilin University of Electronic Technology, the vice president of the Guangxi Industrial Design Association, the deputy director of the Guangxi Professional Teaching Guidance Committee for Design Studies, a director of the Education Committee of the China Industrial Design Association, and a director of the Industrial Design Committee of the China Mechanical Engineering Association. He is the head of a key discipline at the provincial level in Guangxi Autonomous Region, the head of a national first-class major, the head of a national first-class course, a judge for the China Industrial Design Award and the National University Student Industrial Design Competition, a visiting scholar at the University of Technology Cork in Ireland, and has been nominated for the "National Top Ten Educators" award. He has led 2 regional-level teaching reforms for postgraduate students, 1 school-level course, and 1 school-level resource library. He has led 1 national social science foundation project, 1 key project of philosophy and social sciences in Guangxi, 1 key project of the Guangxi Education Department, and multiple non-hierarchical projects. He has published over 70 papers, including 23 in core journals.

Title: Research on Innovative Design of Ethnic Cultural Symbols Assisted by Artificial Intelligence

Abstract: This study aims to explore a new innovative design process for ethnic culture by combining artificial intelligence agents, AI generated content, and extensible semiotics. It aims to activate ethnic cultural elements through modern technological means and provide a reference model for the inheritance and development of ethnic minority cultures.






Prof. Ji Yi

Guangdong University of Technology, China


Ji Yi, Ph.D., is a master's supervisor. He is a Class A "Young Hundred Talents" of Guangdong University of Technology. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Technology Sydney, is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), a guest editor for the International Journal of Robotics and Mechatronics, the vice president of the Australian Chinese Association for Science and Technology, a council member of the International Chinese Society for Human-Computer Interaction, and a specially invited lecturer for the National Art Fund. In recent years, Dr. Ji Yi has mainly focused on personalized intelligent human-computer interaction models and intelligent interaction art, dedicated to innovative application research integrating art and technology. He has published over 30 high-quality academic papers in top international journals and at renowned academic conferences, and holds multiple international and Chinese invention and innovation patents. In the field of art design, his artworks and design works have been exhibited in numerous international interactive art and design exhibitions and important international events. He has been invited to hold workshops and academic lectures at many well-known international academic conferences. As an international curator, he served as the co-chair of the Interactive Art and Design track at Australia CHI 2019, the chair of the sub-forum at the 2022 International Conference on Interaction Design, and the program chair of ACM Chinese CHI 2022.

Zhiyong Xiong

South China University of Technology, China

ZhiyongXiong, Ph.D., Professor, is currently the Assistant Dean of the School of Design at South China University of Technology. He has held various positions, including a special expert appointed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China, a special expert appointed by the China Machinery Industry Federation, a special expert appointed by the China Light Industry Federation, a review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a specialist in the national postgraduate education evaluation and monitoring expert database, a director of the China Mechanical Engineering Society Industrial Design Branch, a member of the Design Ergonomics Branch of the China Ergonomics Society, an honorary vice president of the Guangzhou Industrial Design Association, the deputy director of the Guangdong Human-Machine Interaction Design Engineering Research Center, and a senior consultant expert for Autodesk. He has been selected for the "Thousand Talents Plan" and the "Jiangsu River Science and Technology New Star" talent program in Guangdong Province, and personally received the Red Dot Concept Design Award, the European Product Design Award, among others. He served as the chief expert for the prototype production project of the 44th World Skills Competition in China and guided the contestants to win the gold medal, and was warmly received and commended by the State Council leaders in Beijing's Zhongnanhai.

His research focuses on innovative design, industrial design, intelligent interaction design, etc. In recent years, he has been the principal investigator of more than 10 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education, the Guangdong Provincial Education Department, the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Department, and the Guangdong Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning, and has obtained more than 20 patents and 7 software copyright authorizations. In the past five years, he has published over 20 papers indexed by three major databases (SSCI, SCI, and EI) in international and domestic authoritative journals such as Computers & Education and Frontiers in Psychology, including 2 ESI highly cited papers. He has edited two books, "Industrial Design Foundation" and "Fusion360 Digital Design Practical Tutorial", and co-authored three other books, including "China Innovation Design Roadmap" and "AutoCAD 2016 Chinese Version Advanced Application Tutorial".
